Update for November

Ok so lets see if I can update this to today's date. We have been severely busy with life these days. Its like were has all the time gone. Well since I last posted in October we had Halloween with our friends which was amazing watching the kids get candy and of course my favorite part is digging through it and getting what I like out.. he he. Anyhow, Uriah is growing up so fast. He's making friends and interacting as he should. The month of November went by too fast. We visited the Philippines for the first time. We had a blast on our vacation. We started out in Makati City and saw everything that was in that area.. Mall of Asia, Greenhills Mall (largest flee market I've ever seen). We celebrated Thanksgiving at a small restaurant. We also went to the sea life park along with Rizal park. We took a day trip to Corrigador Island which was gorgeous. We were able to get a history lesson in about world war II and toured a huge tunnel where the Japanese barricaded and blew themselves up with grenades. After along day we grabbed some grub and went to our amazing hotel. We also went to Tagati city which is were Taal Volcano is located and had an amazing lunch on pretty much a cliff. I'm deathly afraid of heights so it took me a minute to actually agree to eat in the hut that oversaw Taal Volcano and the Bay area. It was an amazing view. On Friday we took a mini vacation to another island known as Boraki. We then flew to Boraki which is a small island south of Manila. It was beautiful and most importantly we were able to see another country, culture, and enjoy each other. While we were in Boraki we flew into a small island then had to get on a boat that looked like a cataran but not as sturdy. I thought we were going to drown for sure. We made it to the island of Boraki and we had tons of help with our luggage as people looked us like we were crazy for having 3 suit cases and 2 backpacks. Anyhow transportation is a little different instead of taxi cabs they have three wheel tracks which is a motor cycle with a side cart with a front seat that fits two people and then the back where you can fit 4 people and luggage on top. So we take off in this track and we drive about 10 minutes to what we thought was our hotel. We get off and our "designated tour guide" some guy that randomly wanted to show us our hotel. So we get out and he tells us its a 5 minute walk. We thought for sure we were going to be killed. 300 yards later we walk up to our hotel that's on the beach. We walk in the doors and they reek of paint fumes. Mind you we bought a all inclusive package for a hotel we are showed our room that oversees the ocean gorgeous and its an ultimately an apartment. So I told Jeff we couldn't stay there and we walked up and down the strip found a new place to stay and on top of that we were haggled by the street hagglers and it waw quite the site to see.. Anyhow, we move rooms which is about a mile walk and a 3 minute track but we had to move all of our stuff. Needless to say it was interesting. We we went on a private boat tour which did island hopping. so we were able to see a few of the surrounding islands and go snorkling. My favorite part was the blowholes and really just getting the family time. We also do ziplining which is highly recommended from me some one scared of heights. We did buggy cars that was fun we got to see all the tallest point on the island and their small zoo along with numerous beaches. We came home at the end of November just in time for me to have my LEEP procedure done. Nothing came back cancerous but I will have to continue to go every 6 months for a papsmear. We also will be high risk during the next pregnancy because of the procedure. We aren't trying for any babies until I'm don with school which should be Decemberish but I will walk next May. I am super excited to be going to school and I feel accomplished if that makes any sense. I'll be the first of the kids to finish college and I just really want to beat the generation curses. Anyhow that was the month over November it came and went so fast.

So it's been a few weeks. I had my colposcopy done and I will have to have a procedure done because the cells came back more precancerous. So this procedure will be done on 22 October I ask for youer prayers I'm a little nervous and I know its all in God's hands! Uriah is growing up so fast. He's jabbering like no other I just can't wait for somethimg more than mama to come out and then I will want him to stop talking isn't that how it always is. I'm about a foot over my head in homework. I'm trying my best with all these distractions I have going on. My prayer is that I can manage my time better and learn how to be more dedicated to my family, school work, and be a great wife and mom. I will say this those single moms that go to school full time and work full time "YOUGOGIRL" I dont remember what I did with all my time prior to having a kiddo.. Wow what I would do to have an hour of it back. hehe.. So life has been busy and good. I can't wait to plan our first family vacation which should be coming up in a few months. Well thats it I have to hit the books. have a wonderful day!

So last week I told Jeff about me having nightmares of me dying. It goes anywhere from a natural death, someone robbing my house, to a long painful death. I have been praying for God to take these dreams away from my mind. So during our conversation which I find interesting Jeff says I've been having daydreams to dreams about you dying in car accident to a natural death. I think that is too creepy. Last Monday we got a phone call from the OBGYN office saying that my yearly came back abnormal with an 8cell1 which I still have no idea what that actually is anyhow I have to get a Colposcopy done whenever the Dr office decides to call me back with a scheduled date. I'm not excited one bit about this but I understand that it can come back normal, once again abnormal which could cause more testing, or show if I have cancerous cells. I know that God is on my side and whatever it is he will take care of it but for now I'm enjoying life with my Monkey that keeps me going constantly in the midst of studying to finish this degree I'm pursuing by next fall so God willing we are able to have more kiddos.

I haven't posted lately sorry.I want to thank all of you that have been there for us through thick and thin. We have been completely busy with school and fitting adult time in when I can.. Uriah keeps me busy in between studies and Jeff keeps me busy as well. I think its funny how life goes from busy to more busy. Upcoming events in our lives.. School is the obvious Jeff and I are taking the same amount of classes and one of them are the same. We will be the directors of Puggles this coming fall and we are so excited to see what God has in store for us as directors, leaders, and even as a parent in the upcoming season. We are nervous and we are definately stepping out of our comfort zone but we need to be reaching out to others and if thats through their children than thats what we are going to do :)! Jeff will be leaving for the Phillipines on in September for 10 days we thought about going with him but I'm going to be taking a class. We may go on a cruise of the islands around christmas time which I'm stoked about we haven't been a real vacation since we were in Korea. That's all for now and I'm so glad I could clear my head. Life at the McFadden's

Well it has been pretty crazy around our home. Jeff was gone from Mar 7ish to June 7th. Uriah and I flew home to visit as many family and friends as possible. Our adventure started on May 8 on Uriah's First birthday. We went to Dallas to try to see everyone in a short few days then off to Little River Academy to visit My mother, Sister, Step Papal, and Aunt. We were only there a short 5 days then off to Amarillo we went. We stayed with my aunt and uncle the first week and then stayed with Jeff's parents the other 3 weeks. We had a blast visiting everyone. Uriah was spoiled rotten. It's so bad 4 weeks later I'm still trying to break all the bad habits. Well Jeff joined us in Amarillo on the 7th of June and off to Arkansas to meet Grandpa, Great Grandma, and some more aunts and uncles. I must say we did alot of traveling but it was so great seeing everyone. Once we got back to Hawaii we didn't really get to recover from vacation like we wanted to so immediately Jeff went back to work and I signed up for classes. I'm currently taking 3 classes, 2 of which are 5 weeks long and looking at signing up for another one. I'm trying to finish my degree by May. It's a personal goal that I hope to reach. I think I will be the first one to graduate with a Bachelors degree in my family. Soo woowooo not that I'm bragging just making a statement. So Ihave 21 classes to finish if I want to graduate in May I'm currently on track as long as I stay focused. Baby fever has been calling my name recently I'm not to sure why but I'm staying as far away from it as I can. I must complete my degree before we have another little one running around. So Jeff is currently taking 2 classes and between Uriah time and studying time we are doing quality time and catching some zzzz's. As you can see we are quite the busy bees. We are looking forward to finding out what our gifts and strengths are so that we can serve our God to the best of our ability. Well I think thats a good update. Ok so I know I'm a complete slacker when it comes to blogging.. So heres the update.
Jeff has been in Augusta, GA since March 7 and will be there until June 7. Hes in ALC(Army Leadership Course) and has to have this in order to make the next rank. He's doing well he truly misses home.. He's missed out on alot of milestones but thanks to Skype has has been able to see some of them.

Uriah is doing great. He is spoiled rotten... So he started walking March 25th.. started clapping the week after and has said the word momma and dadda. He is my light.

I will be out of the Army on May 25th officially.. I have been on leave since March 12th. I have enjoyed the life of a stay at home mom and cooking.. It has been interesting going from working fulltime to really trying to fill my time with a bunch of things to do..

Wow its been awhile

Well I figure it's time to update everyone on whats going on in our lives these days. Well Uriah is 8 months and growing up so so fast. On the 27th of December he began crawling and its just amazing at how fast the little man gets from point a to point b. If you didnt know I am currently trying to get out of the Army to be a stay at home mom with our little man. This process has been long and tiresome. It really is a simple process however my commander is dragging this out as far as he can. I know that God is in control and that he will make sure things are done they way they are meant to be done. Jeff is doing well since the hospital stays no more spells of passing out or dying on me. He received a surf board for christmas and loves going to the beach. Now that Uriah is old enough for me to trust someone to watch him while I go in the water I love the beach as well. I tried surfing yesterday I caught a wave all the way in on my knees because of it being my first time I didnt feel like busting my bottom in the Ocean so I knee boarded all the way in. Jeff will be leaving for 5 months come March :(. I plan on coming home in May for a month and then Jeff and I will be headed on vacation. WooHooo.. Life is on a full fledge move constantly.

Well alot is going on in the McFaddy's house hold. We are busy with work, school and our favorite raising an happy little boy. He is the joy of our life and by far perfect even know he is our little sinner. He is currently sitting up on his own that just started today he was wabally prior to today. I'm waiting still to be putout of the Army. I'm excited to be a stay at home mom and a full time student; however, scared becaue 50% of our pay is gone and all the things that come from working 60 hours a week to staying home. Jeff reenlisted on Tuesday so we should be in the army for another 14 years per say.. If that is what the lord wants us to do. We currently are in a series at church called Lifes Healing Choices which is kinda of interesting. Well I need to get to bed.. but just wanted to do a quick up date. God Bless

Uriah's 14 weeks already.

Wow time has flown by since I've blogged. I will give a quick update. First, Thank you Raina for your words of wisdom I do appreciate them. Well Uriah is growing like a weed and eating me outta the house. He just turned 14 weeks. He is holding his head up very well. He loves any kind of noise that you make as long you are paying attention to him. He's laid back doesn't have to be held all the time praise God.. He is begining to like tummy time finally and just as he likes tummy time he has figured out the art of rolling over to play with his toys. He's grabbing hs feet and attempting to put them in his mouth; he hasnt quite figured that out. Feet are gross anyhow. He sucks on anything in his mouth site and makes tons of goo goo gaa gaa noises. It's amazing at how fast they grow up. My two favorite things to watch is him playing with daddy and watching him sleep. Well an update on Jeff and I we are doing fine. We have come to another crossroad in our life where its time to make some hard decisions and we are completely leaving it in God's hands to what the out come might be. I'm currently suppose to deploy next may .. Which isnt going to happen in my eyes. There has been a job opportunitiy that has risen in the last past week. It is working in the same building upstairs the perk is civilian clothes. Wow I'll need a new closet. The bad thing is I have to be out by sep 27 2009 and working there on the 28th which is kinda cool. So it seems as if the door is open i just need to know whether to step or stay. We have finished moving we will clear out of the other house on monday. and the new house is still in disaray im tryn to put it together but had no idea how hard it is to unpack with a newborn.. It'll get done sometime soon I hope. Well I love and miss you all have a wonderful day.

I know I've slacked at the log lately. Sorry to all of my frequent readers. I really just need somewhere this evening to vent. It's almost 11pm and I'm full of tears and emotions are off the charts. I'm sure it has to do with all the hormones.. Go figure. Well all I've wanted is Jeff's attention and affection today. So I wanted to get my nails done because it's been about 3 months and heck I think that I can do something for myself since I did go thru child labor and haven't had any me time. Well that went right down the drain as soon as I mentioned going somewhere by myself for an hour. I think he's afraid of not knowing what to do if he's crying. Anyhow, so I go on this cleaning frenzy I mean cleaning frenzy because I don't know what else to do to remove the disappointment and anger.. Then I work and ask if he'd like to play the Wii and he denies me on that too. I just dont get it.. So I offer to watch a 2 year old of a fellow co worker because her husband is home on rr and they wanted to go to a movie. So I offered to go for a long walk.. Well we walked to the mail box woohoo. and then We get back to the house and the television comes straight on to this whale wars show that he watched for 4 hours straight.. gahhhh I cooked a nice dinner and he didn't even say thank you it was good hun or anything his face was glued to the tv. I mentioned it twice and just figured it was a waste of my breathe. Gah I wish I could just smack him on the back of the head and tell him to wake up... Then after dinner while I'm doing dishes Uriah wakes up screaming and he's so into the doggone television to get up and grab him. So not only do I have the water running in the kitchen but my boobs are screaming at me because of Uriah.
To top this off the family picked up the little girl around 10pm and jeff gets a text from a fellow co worker asking him if he wanted to play tiger woods golf on the internet and guess what he goes out of his way to get connected to the internet to play. When I've asked more than once to play the Wii with me today and now I'm waiting up for him. I can't go to sleep by myself I so wish I could I would of locked him out of the bedroom. LOL J/K!! Boy I feel better I know that this may of been to much info but really needed to get it off my chest and there's no one up in tx and no one up in Hawaii. I'm tired and have to get up every 2.5 hours with Uriah. I wish all of you sweet dreams and God bless.

Who would of known that babies want it their way.. This little man has me wrapped around his pinky and he knows it. Anyways, Well the sleepless nights are starting to catch up to me. Well not really sleepless but the 2 hours here and 1.5 hours here are starting to catch up.. I got woke up at 4by Uriah and got him back to sleep by 5 because he likes to play for an hour after he eats and I get him back to sleep and I start to dose then 520 comes around and Jeff's alarm goes off. Uriah wakes up at 615 and is awake until 11.. He dosed once but was very cranky for the whole time frame. Motherhood completely slapped me in the face today.. Welcome to parenting.. It is a true blessing and for those single moms I respect you all for having to do it on your own. I am thankful for Jeff's helping hands when he is at home. Well I'm off to work.

Oh wow I never thought parenting would be what it is. I love this.. Uriah is truly a blessing. He sleeps, eats, and poops thats really about it. We are doing well. We still need to purchase him a bed. It's not like the mainland though we can't just go out and buy one. There are limited place to buy baby beds. We finally decided on one and guess what it was sold out just my luck. Anyhow, we had our two week check up he was 7lbs2oz he's almost put on a pound since he's been home. Jeff will be returning to work :(.. Makes me a little nervous to be home with no helping hands all day but I know I can do it.. I have picked up a few new recipes.. I'm stoked. I love to cook and this time off is giving me the time to test new recipes. Woohoo.. We got pictures taken yesterday that was a adventure in itself. Anyways, all is well in the McFadden house. I just wanted to give a quick update and a new pic that is my favorite by far.

Baby Uriah Skylar McFadden

OK so I figured while I have a rush of energy I will give everyone an update. My water broke at 2am Friday morning. I tried to sleep alittle and make sure the baby was moving. We got to the hospital after we showered, ate, and of course walked prince. So we arrived at 730 am at the hospital I was 3cm, at noon I was at 4 cm, the midwife was talking platocin and I didnt want meds wanted to try my best to go med free. Well she talked to us about nipple stimulation so I tried it.. Well who would of known that it was so dog on powerful it thru me into a 7 minute contraction the babies heart rate dropped and scared everyone for a minute or so.. So I was monitored and my contractions started coming regular after that moment.. So if any of you wanted to know nipple stimulation works. Wow is all I have to say. So at 4pm I was still at 4cm and she said I was making progress. She put me in the bath tub to relax me well a shift change a 6pm for midwives and 7pm for nurses. I was in the tub for about 2 hours and it was awesome it really took some of the pain off me.. So I got out of the tub the contractions were closer but at 7 I was still at 4cm.. Oh my this was going to take absolutely forever.. So I told Jeff I was exhausted and needed something to let me relax and rest for an hour if I wanted to give natural birth. So I took the narcatics. I slept for an hour, but heard every conversation that was going on. I woke up to the doctor talking about platocin again and Jeff and Ivy told her to leave so they could discuss it and they prayed over me and in the mean time I had to pee/poo and the nurse wouldnt let me go to the bathroom due to the narcatics... So I peed in the bed pan and told her i need to poo and push and she said don't push.. The doc came and asked if the platocin had been started and the nurse said no.. So I was examined and throwing the towel in for an epidural due to pain.. wow the pain who would of known.. (but its all worth it after its over).. So no more than the doctor examining me 10minutes ago and jeff and Ivy praying over me. I had went from 4cm to 10 cm.. No lie.. The doc examined me and said oh he's crowning lets get the show on the road. Needless to say no epidural for me.. 30 minutes of pushing and our Handsome Uriah Skylar McFadden had arrived. So we got home yesterday and everything is going ok.. I had a rough night last night full of feeding, puking, and dirty diapers.. Jeff took over at 630 so I could sleep and it felt like i slep a good 8 hours and it'd only been 2. So we are doing well keep us in your prayers i'm off for 55 days and jeff 10.. We have company coming in the beginning of june and look forward to it. God Bless and I'll post some more pics as they come in since jeff is documenting everything.. Absolutely everything.

As most of you know I have had an anxiety about making friends, and if you dont you do now. So at church today we started a new series called Good to Great. So today was about friends. What a better time than now right. Well he asked how many of us had good friends and great friends and I know that I have good friends but didn't quite know what he ment by great friends. Needless to say I have only ever had 2 great friends in my life my sister and Sara.. As the sermon went on I felt sadden because the once great friend I had is now just a good friend I want to be her to be a great friend and I want to be her great friend but time zones and life seem to seperate us. So this is what he said:
1. Good friends reveal some things, great friends are transparent to each other. - "Confess to one another therefore your faults, your slips, your false steps, your offenses, your sins and pray also for one another, that you may be healed and restored to a spiritual tone of mind and heart. The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available."-James 5:16 AMP
2. Good friends hope for the best, great friends offer correction.
"As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another." -Proverbs 27:17 NIV
-We alll know that sharpening iron isn't an easy process and correcting a friend when they are doing something wrong isn't an easy process either.
"All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."-Timothy 3:16 NIV
3. Good friends love each other, great friends love each other sacrificially.
"My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends." -John 15:12-13
-Great friends are always there no matter what if its 2am or 3pm.
-Sacrificially means when we love our friends it may cost us something.

The reason I share this with all of you is because wow I didnt realize the difference between good friends and great friends. I look forward to turning good friends into great friends only if they are willing of course. We are able to move forward as god driven children when we have great friends that keep us accountable for our actions and are there for us in the deepest times of need. ...
When is the last time you corrected a friend knowing that you could lose their friendship? I can tell you this.. I haven't done it in a very long time.. Other than my sister and I'm more brave towards here than some of my friends. Well thats the update with me.

Baby McFadden is doing well. I'm starting to get cramps in my lower abdominal which is a good sign I suppose.. We go back to the doctor on 6 May if he hasn't came by then which I think I will have to experience a whole lot more cramps and discomfort first. Jeff is due back on Friday but he said he should be home on Tuesday. Praise God. Isn't he an awesome God. How he just seems to show me more about myself daily.

36 Weeks 3 Days....

I had a doctors appointment today and it went well. I have been having some false labor indications. The midwife says that its common which some of you know but I didnt know false labor can hurt as bad as normal labor. My waddle has definately got worse and it's harder for me to walk without cramping. At work I have to get up and down constantly which is annoying but my unit realizes that I will be having this child soon.. So they are a little more leanent on me for working. I have been super sleepy since Jeff has left I guess thats part of being pregnant. A few more weeks and our little mcfaddy waddy will be here. I'm super excited. Theres alot to do at work but hey you know what its still going to be there just with a different name and social at the top of the form. I have really tried to back off and let my soldiers and nco work so they can get use to me not being there hopefully anyhow.. I'm posting a pic from easter Sunday I was 34 weeks I believe. I have a doctors appointment in 2 weeks to see how things are going. Keep me in your prayers for pain tolerance.

Prayers Prayers Prayers!!

So this week has been so crazy.. Well first I would like you all to pray for Stacy and Jared they are Jeff's cousins they lost one of their twins this weekend due to some heart issues. My sister Sha is in the hospital with staff infection in her leg and they think its in her blood system.. Then Jeff is going out of town today for 2 weeks.. Thats nerve racking knowing tomorrow I will be 36 weeks. Then I just feel so lonely here in Hawaii. I dont know if I have an anxiety of making friends and having to say good bye frequetly....It's like everytime I make a really good friend they move to a different duty station or we move. It's just hard to find good good friends. I've really had to think hard of who would take me to the hospital if I were to go into labor while Jeff is gone.. If I were in Texas I know a few people I would call but here I cant even name one person that I would want there besides jeff and I've known most of these people for over a year but they aren't friends just people I know. If that makes any kind of since. I miss all of you and I'm so so ready to come back to Texas. Yes I know I live in Paradise but it would be so much better if I had a gf to share it with. You can only talk to your husband so much until he's tired of talking.. LOL ... Jeff is pretty good but its just nice to have a girl friend there for advise when you need it. Well I'm going to get off my soap box as jeff would say and help him pack we have to leave in 20 minutes. I'm going to target to shope it'll make me feel better lol not..

Blogger Slacker!!

OK... Blogger friends sry I've been slacking quite bad when it comes to updating things. So on monday I will be 35 weeks. Oh my 5 weeks to go or sooner. We have finally chose a name.. Cant tell until he gets here but let me tell you its unique and super cute!!! So I feel like a penguin walking. I wobble like no other and it gets worse by the day. I have been sleeping a little at night. Work is stressing me out to an extent and wearing me out. I go in at 0630 and suppose to be gone by 230 but never get out before 330.. Go figure.. It looks like i have an over sized bball in my shirt these days. Jeff and I are doing well to.... I'm super excited to be a mom but know it's going to be hard work. I just hope this little one doesnt decide to come between 20 April and 2 May because jeff will be St. Louis, MO.. Thats nerve racking I will have a little over two weeks left when he gets back. Things are slowly coming together for his room and for his arrival. I have our bags packed. the carseat ready and the extra pillows for jeff to sleep. I'm such a sweeet wife.. Nah I'm just kidding but the hospital did say bring extra pillows for the spouse so thats part of his bag.. Well thats about all thats going on in our lives. We miss and love all of you...

Home Sweet Home!

Well Hawaii isn't really Home Sweet Home.. It's just were we live. I miss home more now than I did before. I think it is because of my cute little nephew that I want to be around and my bf erin.. And of course all of our friends and family. It's amazing how life works. I have a horrible cold. I've had it since before we left Hawaii. It got better and now its back worse than before. I go to the labor and delivery Thursday night to get medicine and the nurse treats me like a complete idiot. Why should I pay for medicine when the Army will give it to me for free. That is my right as a soldier!! So the doc's were cool and said your just here to get medicine and of course my reply was yes.. So they took their time.. Hooked me up to all the monitors to check the baby and the nurse was super annoyed by this point.. I got a giggle out of it because it made her get off her butt and do something rather than play the game on the computer she was playing when we walked up. So they gave me sudafed, benodryl, and robitussin.. It seems not to work besides letting me sleep for more that 3 hours. Any who enough of that. We made it home safely on Tuesday night and we have been going and going since we got home. I want to thank all of you that came to the baby shower and all the gifts.. We ended up sending 9 boxes of baby stuff to Hawaii. Yes most of you are thinking thats expensive but I rather pay to ship it than go out and buy all of it.. My sister did the biggest contribution because I took everything that she had and wow its going to help out big time.. Bring on the hand me downs.. LOL!! So we are looking at possibly hiring a Nanny full time.. One because jeff and I work all the time and two our house will stay clean too.. So My sister is a awesome candidate for this. We are going to pay for her to move here and pay her weekly to watch our little one. She can go to school at night which I know she wants to finish her degree so this will help both of us out and I will be close to my nephew.. Those are all perks.. Down falls I can't really think of any currently. The Army charges us a buttload because we both are in the army and honestly the CDC your child is always sick.. This would be a 1yr to 1.5yr job.. So it would give Jeff and I time to prepare for me to get out of the Army. It will also allow us to attempt at finishing our degrees. I can almost taste it... NOT!! I wish what was I thinking waiting until I turn 25 to start college.. I was just busy enjoying being married and reling on being in the army foreer. I'm just over it. I don't want to have to leave me child for long periods of time and rely on someone else to take care of him.. Well thats whats on my mind.. So much to do and think about and not enough time..

So all is well in the McFaddy Waddy house. We are starting to do the transformation for the baby. I have a cabinet area that is perfect for a changing table so we are going to transfer it from being the only linen place we have to the baby storage area besides his room. We are in a very small town house because thats how Hawaii is everything is small here. LOL Just like everything is big in Texas. Anyhow. Jeff keeps calling the baby mac what he wants him to be named to see if it sounds good I get a kick out of it. But for now only God knows when he wants us to know he'll tell us. We have started this new Ohana group (small group)and the church is also doing a 6 weeks series on it. It's called desire to change. My biggest one is doing my devotions. I have got to be one of the worst. I always think about it I just dont have the discipline to do it and honestly I have read more recently than I have in the past I just pray that jeff would do the same.I guess my biggest prayer is that we can go together spiritually. We pray and have wonderful conversations but just wish that we would read once a week together. Anyhow. We will be in dallas on the February 28th at 0930. Prince is calming down. He keeps me sane on days that I really need it. I know I got off on a tangent anyways. This desire to change church wide is amazing to watch others change and you grow with them. If we are done with the book we will bring it and pass it on. The beach was wonderful today and no im not in a swim suit I can't fit any of the ones I have and dont feel like buying a new one. Jeff is learning how to surf. I'm so jealous I waited 8 months for him to get here and now I'm pregnant with our precious little boy and can't get on a surf board. He is actually catching waves and standing for a few prior to falling off. He loves it. Well anyhow take care God Bless.

I turned 22 weeks today. Oh what a blessing. God has blessed me with a wonderful pregnancy. We found out what our little one is going to be.. Hold on I know some of you cant wait to here. ITS A BOY!! We are super excited and feel truly blessed. God knows I can't handle girls. LOL jk We have started to get things from the soldiers that deployed around a week and half ago. Jeff said "Wow we are really having a baby." I just laughed. I think the reality of it is starting to kick in. I think it will kick in more when we set up his room .. So looks like we will be in dallas the 27th ish through the 3rd of march. So thats really all thats new in our lives. Oh. yeah jeff is finally promotable. He's heading out to the phillipines on saturday :( for a week. at least im blessed to be here were we can see each other here and there. I love you gals. I got to make dinner just wanted to reply to Raina.. LOL.. Oh the baby moves like its on crack. its crazy..

The mood swings are in full effect. Yea I try to control them but there is just something Jeff knows how to do best is get under mind skin. I try to turn them off so I've learned that when he says something smart like hey babe you been on the scooter alot lately nag nag nag nag nag nag nag... he does this horrible sound with it. That I need to go to the extra bedroom and have some alone time and try to get out of the mood I'm in. Does anyone have any remedies for mood swings. My father in law said its just a good excuse for a woman to be ugly.. LOL.. So all is well in the mcfadden household. My stomach is getting bigger by the day it seems like and I officially can feel the butterfly in my stomach moving around which is really weird. I know it will be more weird when it is kicking me in my ribs. We go to the doctor on Tuesday to find out what it is... I'm super excited.. To see what our little mcfaddy waddy is going to be.. Jeff birthday was about a week ago I took him to Chili's I wanted to go somewhere fancy but all he wanted was fajitas from chili's. He also received two probowl tickets. Spoiled I know. So it looks like we will be in dallas from the 28th ish of February to the 3rd of February. I know its only 3 or 4 days but we are trying to see everyone and have to spend our time wisely. So yes Sara you have to share me with my sister. JK. So I see alot of you are having more babies congratulations. I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas and have a wonderful New Year.

I dont have a new years resolution. I wish I did but I can't think of anything that I want to do in the new year.

So I've been a complete slacker at the blogging. So I finished another semester of school woohoo getting there. two classes at a time.. So I'm on mondya I will be 19 weeks. i can't believe that it is coming so fast. It seems as yesterday I was getting a pregnancy test. I've gained about 13 pounds ehhhh.. but its all good.. Jeff says yuou look like you did when we met. He finally is done with all of his schooling. He goes to the promotion board on the 5th of Jan. So please pray that he retains what he studies and that the board is a breeze. So I went to the doctor yesterday and jeff was there and he got to hear the babies heart beat his face was priceless. All the blood test came back negative praise god. We have a heathly lil one growning. We have the ultrasound to find out what it is on the 30th we dont know if we will be telling anyone because Jeff wants it to be a secret. Sooo I dont know.. We will be home in February for a few days in dallas the rest of the time will be in amarillo..

Oh at church we are in a sermon serious called a simple christmas. The first thing was about loving others.. this last week it was about true joy..
The reason I say this is our Ohana (small group)..
The small group came up with an idea about loving others. The leaders opened up their home to their neighborhood kids.. They had 5 or 6 kids that had RSVPed.. Well last sunday was the big day and they opened thier home from 130-800pm..At 200pm Jeff and i got a phone call for backup. They had 20 children (2yrs to 12 years old)at their home. and there was only 3 of them.. So we grabbed popcorn and headed over. When we got there we got the low down on what was going on. I put the names on all the kids and the activities had already begun. Some kids were inside play go fish and with all the toys. Some in the garage doing arts and crafts and then the others were outside playing sports. It was complete kaious complete organized kaious. The kids were great. I just hope that we were able to show these kids love and joy along with their parents. At the end of the night the kids were wired and full of happiness. I just pray that it opened a communication for our small group leaders and us to show the neighvors about the lord and the choldren.

Well I turned 16 weeks Monday. What a true blessing? Praise God!!! We are so thankful for everything. For friends, family and the opportunities that the lord gives us. So jeff is in school still WLC(30 days) gahh it feels like a year. So he got to come home on wed night to friday morning. I went to an Army Family Team Building on Saturday and they released them to come home in the afternoon time to come home until sunday afternoon because they were out of water.. wooohoo.. Neways. He's got 1 week from tomorrow left and I absolutely cant wait. He has been such a great help since I have been pregnant. all is well in the McFaddy Waddy household. Prince is bored out of his mind like always. Well just wanted to do a quick update.

14 Weeks

I did a check up last week. The doc says mom and baby are doing great. I heard the heart beat it was the most magnificent thing I have heard and seen. So he checked and said im close 13/14 weeks. Which is outstanding. So that makes my due date May 18 ish if the kiddo decided not to come early or late. I'm getting a bump it is crazy how your body changes while your prego. Today my noise was off the chain. I could smell things in other rooms that really no one else noticed. I get a kick out of it. Jeff is currently in WLC(Warrior Leadership Course) which is a month long. You realy aren't suppose to see him but he gets about a day and a half off for Thanksgiving. So we dont get to speak to each other much we talk about 10 minutes a day and it just seems as if you cant speak fast enough to put everything you have to say in 10 minutes. Atleast this times its only 30 days. So I need a huge favor from jeff's guy friends. See jeff doesn't like to come home and I am a home body person. My plan is to come home in February then go on vacation and all he heard was vacation. I think if people ask when they will see him he will be more open to the idea. Yes it will be kind of a guilt trip but I wanna see everyone. or I will probably be coming by myself. Either way I will have a bigger bump and less tolerable. Well thats all I have to say for now. So I have been slacking when it comes to staying or keeping you all up to date. I have a doc appt on wed to check everything out. I'm doing well have been nausious alot more lately than before. I have been semi picky when it comes to eating. Other than that I'm gaining weight yes most will say you cant tell. Well I can when your close become tight in places you dont want then your gaining weight. LOL.. I guess thats suppose to happen or really has to happen. So moving on Jeff will be going to WLC for 1 month so i will be alone again.. I will do fine as always oh.. wlc is warrior leaders course its so that you can get to the next rank.. I have made e6 on the first on november so october was a great month. My new job is ok .. very low stress and no soldiers.. what a blessing.. what a blessing. So anyways thats all thats going on.. Busy with church, school and work..

God is so great. I found out yesterday that I will be picked up for the next rank (e6, staff sargeant) Woohoo. Neways I love and miss you guys.. I'm doing well been a little sick today but overall good to go.. I'm getting a little pudge but i suppose there isn't anything you can do about that huh. Oh and jeff will be going to another army school for the month of nov 12- dec 11.. uhhhh but he's got to do it. at least we wont be separated for a year deployment currently.

So recently most of you know I was suppose to be deploying to Iraq in
January. I am no longer deploying because Jeff and I found out Tuesday
I am 9 weeks pregnant.Due May 18, 2009. We have a really good friend name Nate Olin he will be deploying out tonight if not tonight then on Saturday sometime.
He has a wife named Ivy(Evy) and a son with spinalbifida named Brendon
that will be staying back in Hawaii by themselves. I know that God
works in amazing ways. I just ask that you all pray for safety and
comfort for this family as he gets ready to defend our country in Iraq.
I have seen soldiers coming in and out of the finance office like crazy
I had a First Sargeant(pretty high ranking) I was getting ready to turn
him away because he was in his physical fitness uniform, and he said
SGT McFadden myself and my soldiers are leaving within the next 72
hours can you please help us out. We keep getting turned away. My heart
fell so hard and I just felt lead to help him on the spot. After I
helped him he shook my hand and said Thank You (its amazing how far
thank you goes). NEways as they walked out the door my eyes filled with
tears because those soldiers were walking out of my office and the next
finance person they will see will be down range and whose to say they
will help them as well as they need to be helped. So I have this
website that there is a ton of soldiers on and you can adopt a soldier
to pray for you dont have to send them anything its just praying for
them.

So here's the thing. We will be coming home from the 24th November-8 December. We are trying to come to Dallas from the 6Th and fly out on the 8th around lunch time. However, I can't convenience my husband to get a hotel room ... Which this could change between now and then but we would need a place to stay for 2 nights and a ride from and to the airport. I'm sure I can convince the rental car because he will want to do things with everyone. Could I get some assistance or any ideas. I would greatly appreciate it. So Thats whats new. I'm starting to get nervous about deploying we leave in January and that is right around the corner. Seriously Jeff just got here yesterday not really it was like two months ago but seems like yesterday. So there is alot of training coming up and field time that I so don't wanna deal with but I got to do it. So all is well this week. I thank all of you for your prayers and concern. Jeff and I are doing well. I went to the OB this morning and I'm not prego :( but it will come when GOD wants not when Jeff and Kattie wants. She did say to go home and practice right away which i got a kick out of and Jeff was hilarious when I told him. Any how that might be TMI.. but I got a kick out of it anyhow. So she said to try for 3-4 mo and if nothing happens to come back and we will discuss other ways. So thats about it. Jeff has a wonderful job and we are so thankful for it. I have had a few reality checks of getting deployed this week. My heart is saddened to leave Jeff and us again. I know that it is where God wants me to go if we don't get prego.. I have some crazy soldiers which is kind of mind boggling. Soo I'm obviously rambling about random stuff... I go to the promotion board for E-6(SSG) in OCT which I am stoked about. We are moving to Waikele closer to both or our jobs. It's not necessarily as nice as where we are living but it is pretty close. We move next weekend. Wow where does time go it seems as if I just got here and then jeff came and now we are already moving. I turn 25 on September 2 woohoo. I get to be a different age than jeff for a woppin 3 months and I get to hear it every day to.. It's ok I may be older but he is the one getting a hearing aid. Speaking of those of you that don't know Jeff has severe hearing lose in his left here normal hearing is below 25 and he has above 40 on both ears.. So he went and got fitted last week and they recommended a MRI for his head and said there is a possiblity he could have a tumor, bc of how bad his left ear is. Anyhow I will update yall with that when he goes. Well I love and miss you guys. I'm horrible about keeping in touch so keep me on my toes.

I CANT EVEN BEGIN TO IMAGINE WHAT IT IS LIKE TO LOSE A CHILD BUT I KNOW THAT GOD PUTS US THROUGH THIS FOR A REASON. DEAR FRIENDS PLEASE PUT HER ON UR PRAYER LIST THIS IS THE SECOND MISCARRIAGE.

So we have decided to move to Waikele.. I know most of you have no idea where that is however its closer to Jeff and I's job since we are at different post. I am feeling better so much better. So I have had a reality check recently. We are gearing up to deploy. It's so crazy to be doing training and learning how to do certain things. I'm so not ready. I will be going to the promotion board and I passed my test so that i can put in my packet for OCS (Officer Candidate School)... So we will see what God wants us to do. My prayer is that God will reveal what he wants us to do.. So I hope all is well... I love and miss you guys.. Oh prince and Jeff are doing great.

This last Month

As most of you know Kenneth (Jeff's Brother) joined us for about 6 weeks for the summer. Our prayer is that he follows the lord and that he learned something from being her. So his time has come to head back to TEXAS.. I sure am going to miss that kid. He was such a great help to me in the kitchen. He loves to cook and he has done a great job doing it as well. I am thankful for him some nights we would of ate sandwiches or roman noodles if he hadn't cooked for us. Anyhow, things are going ok. We just moved out of the office to start our Iraq training. It was a huge reality check. Jeff and I both know that God puts things in front of us to strengthen our relationship with ourselves, each other, and mostly God. So I have been a sick since friday. I got up friday and went to work and at lunch time I was nausious like crazy so I chose not to eat, and later I ate crackers and some rasberries Yummy right.. not so much it made it worse so I laid down when I got home and so up comes the rasberries and crackers. I ate some chicken noodle cause i was starving once more and no more than me sitting it on the counter that was up to. I have started to feel better and hold things down as of yesterday. Praise God!!! I still get nausious at set times of the day. Mostly around 830ish and it comes out of no where and then when I work out in the afternoon it just creeps on me. I go to the OB tomorrow for a check up and to look at options for Jeff and I. Jeff has been doing well. We are doing ok as well. But thats it for now.

Things are rockin and rollin. We are working like crazy. Kenneth is here so things have been crazy but a blessing. Its nice having a 15 yr old around that helps out and likes to serve and learn new things. I'm sure he's not like this at home but it is a true blessing while hes here.So I'm in school part-time and work full time there isn't much time for play but I know what the reward is when its all said and done. So Life is good. Jeff is finally settled in and working. PRAISE GOD! KENNETH HAS JOINED US FOR THE SUMMER HE HAS BEEN HERE 3 WEEKS AND HAS 3 WEEKS LEFT SO HAVING A 15 YEAR OLD ISN'T AS EASY AS I THOUGHT. LOL NEWAYS I AM SO THANKFUL FOR HIM THOUGH BC I CATCH MY SELF GETTING SHORT TEMPTED WITH JEFF AND I JUST REMEMBER THAT I WANT HIM TO KNOW WHAT A GOOD WIFE IS SUPPOSE TO DO EVEN KNOW I PULL JEFF TO THE SIDE AND TALK TO HIM ABOUT IT.. So I had NCO of the Month board this morning I of course didn't win but did a great job at trying to win. Jeff and I are finally getting settled in. It is such a blessing for him to be here. I know that it has been hard. Like Sara said in her blog were does time actually go. 8 Months ago I was getting on a plane to come here and now look jeff and are finally together for a lil while. I am so thankful for everything god has given us and what he is to bring. I want to thank those of you that have prayed for us and I love all of you guys and gals. So Kenneth(Jeff's brother) has joined us as of Sunday for a whole month.. A 15 yr old in Hawaii who would of thought. So I think so far he is having an ok time I hope anyways. Well when he first got here he had a mohawk. a huge mohawk like it was at least 5 to 6 inches tall and it looked crazy I said that is going tomorrow and he was actually fine with it.. I tried to just trim it and make it one length for his sake. So it was coceyed and he didnt like so now he is bald.. gahhh I know how to shave a head though. lol neways I have to run.. We are finally together.. I'm so happy and excited. I knew it was going to be crazy because of just im use to a routine and doing what i want and i still can but its a little different. So he's on leave relaxing and I'm working hard as usual. He will be going to Fort Shafter which is awesome and means he wont be deploying unless he volunteers. So I'm still due to deploy in Jan. :( However I have my head straight. I do have a job interview today to be the head dog in shafters driver.. SO ALOT HAS HAPPENED SINCE THE LAST POST. I HAVE REPLACED MY PHONE.. FINALLY... SO JEFF WILL BE GOING TO FORT SHAFTER CURRENTLY WHICH IS GOOD BECAUSE HE WONT DEPLOY HE IS GOING TO A GARRISON MISSION. HOWEVER I STILL AM ON THE ROSTER TO DEPLOY IN JANUARY..JEFF WILL BE HERE THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK IM SO STOKED. THIS LONG JOURNEY OF BEING SEPARATED IS OVER TEMPORARY. SO I WONT BE ABLE TO TAKE ANY LEAVE AFTER AUG BECAUSE OF TRAINING. I WILL BE GOING TO FORT MCCOY WS IN SEP AND THEN TO PTA ONCE AGAIN FOR TRAINING. SO EVEN KNOW JEFF IS HERE I WILL BE GETTING READY TO DEPLOY SO WE MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO SEE EACH OTHER MUCH.SO BLOCK LEAVE IS FROM 13 NOV TO 12 DEC SO I MIGHT BE HOME FOR ONE HOLIDAY HOWEVER SINCE JEFF WILL NOT BE DEPLOYING MORE THAN LIKELY I WONT BE COMING HOME BECAUSE WE NEED TO SPEND AS MUCH TIME TOGETHER AS POSSIBLE. WE ARE TRYN TO GET PREGNANT I HAVE BEEN OFF THE PILL SINCE MARCH. HOWEVER MOST OF YOU KNOW I HAVE PCOS SO IT IS COMPLETELY IN GOD'S HANDS IF HE WANTS US TO BE PARENTS THEN WE WILL BE PARENTS. IM EXCITED FOR THE FUTURE AND WHAT IT IS TO BRING. I DO HAVE SOME NEW CRAZY SOLDIERS. WITH BEING A SQUAD LEADER I HAVE ALOT OF RESPONSIBILITIES WHICH IS CRAZY BUT THEY HAVE POTENTIAL TO DEPLOY BUT THERE IS ALOT OF INEXPERIENCED PEOPLE TO INCLUDE ME WHEN IT COMES TO GOING DOWN RANGE. I DO KNOW THAT WE ARE GOING OT A PLACE WHERE WE WILL BE GOING OUT ON PAY MISSIONS AND IT COULD BE DRIVING OR FLYN SO .. FOR NOW I JUST ASK THAT YOU KEEP US IN YOUR PRAYERS AND I KNOW THAT GOD WILL PREVAIL WITH WHAT HE WANTS DONE.

Well we still dont know what happened to my phone. There will be alot going on. It looks like Jeff and I are going to have 3 mo together before we are separated from each other for at least 15 -20 mo again.. I'm so worried..but i've let it go its in Gods hands and he will prevail!!! So we have some friends from Oklahoma coming to Hawaii in July I'm so excited that we will have some people we know here.. So Jeff will be here in a bout two weeks I can't wait anyways just wanted to leave a quick update.. I love you guys..

Well on Tuesday my phone was taken off of my desk at work. So I have no way to communicate and its absolutely killing me. Jeff isn't to happy with the whole situation he has made me feel like the worse person on the face of the earth. So those of you that I love dearly I won't be able to contact you for about a week waiting on our insurance to kick in so I can get a phone and then I will have to email you all to get your phone numbers. Work has been so crazy I barely have time to eat..Not only that but we lost our first softball game.. woohoo. However, God is great and I will make it through this very rough week.

Well well I don't know where to begin. Yesterday we went to the mall shopping for a bra because they don't have VS in Hawaii. So I wanted to drop off my ring and get it cleaned. Come to find out I had chipped the middle diamond and not only that there were 3 diamonds loose so they wouldn't clean it. They had to ship it off to get it fixed. Well I leave today to go back to Hawaii!! So we didn't get it done. While on our mission to shop for bra's Jeff says lets look at rings and I'm really hesitant bc I know its going to turn into a all day adventure and it's not going to buy one anyhow. So we walk into Zales and finad a beautiful ring but its just not singing so I say lets stop by Gordons. Oh well we find this beautiful ring absolutely beautiful custom cut and all. Then we go to ChicFilA to talk about it and we want to check K jewelers. So we I walk in look and just don't see anything so this guy is tryin desperately to sell us a diamond and I'm ready to walk out.. 30 Minutes later we finally get out of there the Mall is now closed and the guy with the ring that we loved it was his last night there so we were like great so we walk by Gordon's and they are still there. So Jeff ask to look at it again and he said we'll take it.. I about fell over he has never ever bought anything that quick. Ever let me tell you ever ever.. So we size it, get everything together and by 1055 I walk out of Gordon's with a beautiful ring on my finger. I'm attaching the reactions to seeing the ring. Well here we go again. I'm off to the big island tonight at 0130 for 6 days of training.. I hate being in the field playing soldier. So those of you that don't know field is like going camping. I love going camping but cant stand to go to the field. Anyhow thats a week long then I come back Friday.. Unpack and repack to go see JEFFREY on sunday. I am so excited my little heart is racing and wants to jump outta my chest. So I come back on the 4th of May and I go to the field for a week. WOOHOO.. I'm so not looking forward to that. In the mean time Prince will be staying with a lady I use to work with. So please pray for comfort for Prince I know he is going to miss me. I love that dog.. Oh I'm attaching a picture of his new best friend from next door. Her name is Ruka.. Neways.. Here is the newest and not the greatest news. Jeff will be here in June sometime. We still don't have a set date. I will be leaving in Aug for 3-4 weeks for training at Fort McCoy in WS woohoo.. So we will get roughly a month together before we will be separated again. Then I'm not sure what unit he is going to, however alot of people are leaving in November so hopefully not him.. The News I am on orders currently to deploy in Jan of 2009 to Baghdad Iraq. This is the worse place for a finance soldier to go... I will get block leave in Dec.. So please pray Jeff and I get to spend as much time together as possible. My deployment is a year. We could be separated for a very long time depending on when everything goes down. I know that its God's will. Please pray that our marriage is so strong when we leave that their isn't any concerns. This is going to be really hard we were going to start trying to have babies. Maybe its not Gods time for us. I'm crushed that their is a possibility of being pregnant and alone while he is gone and no one i mean no one here to help me. So those are my thoughts and concerns.

Jeff has passed another test. He has been doing so great.. I have a week and half before I go to the big island for training.. I'm a little nervous.. I have hurt my knee.. My ankles are bad and my knee has been hurting and I've been putting it off but know its so bad that it hurts to walk and it even swells up which i know isnt good. So I hope to be able to go to the doctor this week. I start school on monday I hope that I can do well I'm a lil nervous I've been out of school 7 years but I think I'll be ok.. So its official I'm off birth control.. WOOO HOOO.. I went to a military ball and it was so fun. It would of been better if Jeff where with me. So one more week down before we are reunited.. I miss all of you and have a great week. God Bless!!

OK OK WELL IM A HUGE BLOGGER SLACKER. I DONT CURRENTLY KNOW Y I HAVEN'T BEEN DOING IT. I GUESS IVE WORKED ALOT.. OH WELL IM NOT GOING TO MAKE EXCUSES THERE ISN'T AN EXCUSE FOR ME NOT TO KEEP MY FRIENDS UP TO DATE WITH LIFE. SO HERE GOES. WELL JEFF AND ARE DOING OK. WE HAVE BEEN HAVING UPS AND DOWNS RECENTLY. I GUESS ITS THE SEPARATION THAT IS STARTING TO GET TO BOTH OF US. HOWEVER, WE ACTUALLY ARE TALKING THROUGH OUR ISSUES AND IT HELPS ALOT. THOSE OF YOU THAT REALLY KNOW JEFF AND I KNOW THAT WE HAVE STRUGGLED BECAUSE OF COMMUNICATION WHICH SUCKS HOWEVER WE ARE GROWING CLOSER TO EACH OTHER EVERY DAY AND IM SO APPRECIATIVE AND THANKFUL. A Small Update...

So I went to a friend from highschools lil boys birthday party. It has been so long since we have seen each other. It was so great to catch up with each other.. So Ive been getting sunburnt alot lately. Work is crazy as always. Road marches, paperwork, and all the drama. Other than that its fine. Jeff and I are doing well. It's getting harder everyday being away from each other..The communication is slim we were 5 hours apart but now 6 because of the time change. Seeing how Hawaii doesnt change the time. So please continue to pray for our patience with each other. We have grown alot but we have so much more growing to do. OOOO and Jeff is bringing up the baby word more than me lately. But baby drae and mommy are doing well. Life is crazy. I finally signed up for school looks like I will be finished with my assoc by next May if I stay on track. Anyways. Just wanted to update everyone.. OOOO looks like Jeff will be here in Junish.. I so hope so this is driving me crazy. Sara your so great and I love how patient you were when mike was away. I'm praying for you guys. Love ya bunches.. and I miss church like crazy I can't find anything to compare or even close to those that were in our sunday school classes or small group.. We miss all of you so much.

We had a death this last week.. Her name is Mary Louis she is a precious. She was from plainview she lost the battle of cancer. She was a wonderful lady. I ask that you all pray for her family. She had 7 or 8 kids and 20 some odd grandchildren. She will be greatly missed but we all know she isn't suffering anymore and shes in the wonderful place!!

I would like to thank all of you for your prayers. I wanted to give a quick update on Jeff and I. Jeff has started his class and looks like he will be here in June. Woohoo. I'm stoked. Anyhow, we are doing well. I am covered in work right now. I work long hours and it seems to be never ending. I am not going to Singapore. Praise God!!! Well the news is that we are stop lossed and there is a Battalion and Brigade leaving for Iraq in Nov (thats alot of people just to let you know). Well its our Battalion that is leaving but I'm not tasked out to go yet and we don't know where Jeff will be so he could be in one of the two. My Company will be leaving in April to June time frame next year. HHD detachment is going to Balad, Iraq and Alpha is going to Kuwait, and they are looking for people that haven't been to send first so guess who is the first pick noncommissioned officer... that would be me. So our prayer is that we go at the same time. This separation was suppose to be for 4 months and has turned into 9 months. God is great and has a plan. So anyways just wanted to give ya'll an update.

So Jeff and I are doing well. I have been so busy at work and Jeff has been with school. I ask that you all continue to pray for us because the more he has to study the less we are able to talk. However we are doing well. I found out that I have to go to PTA its training that u go through in preparation for Iraq. I haven't been told anything other than myself going to this training. Anyhow Jeff has passed his first test. He has his second one today so I don't know how he has done but I know that he will do great. So baby Drae and Erin are in Amarillo for about a week to see if this is what she wants to do. So please continue praying for my sister. Hawaii is good just alot going on. I love you guys.

Hello All-
Well here's a picture of Jeff and I when he was here. We had a blast. He is feeling better and starts school tomorrow. We are so blessed and we don't deserve it. God is great. Jeff and I have come along way since I left. We both are maturing and not arguing like all the time.. I thank all u that are there for me its nice to have family and friends that reach out to us. I just hope and pray I'm there the way some of u are there for me. Jeff got a class date this morning. He will be starting class on Monday which means that he will be going to the field this thurs, fri, sat and come back on sun. So I ask that u pray for him for his safety and for him to be able to have enough time to manage everything. This school isn't suppose to be easy but I and all of you know that he will do great. So here comes the time when we won't get to talk really at all except maybe on the weekend. This is going to be truly the hardest thing for me because I love to hear his voice in the morning. Please pray for patience for both of us the time zones get to us and it is very hard to keep the communication up when we only get to talk 5 min at a time. Well Hawaii is still warm, cold to me but its still warmer than Texas. I think I'm over the home sick. It's not so bad anymore. Anyways I miss all of you and oh by the way baby drae and mom are doing great. Please continue to pray for her as she goes through having to deal with being a single mom.

Praise God this week is over. It has been so long. My family has safely returned to the main land ie TEXAS. Well God has safely brought Mike home from Iraq. I know Sara was so excited. Erin has had Baby Drae Tyler. He was born on 1.10.08 @ 10:27PM Weighed 8lbs 7oz. She had a csection she was in labor for a total of 18 hours.. She's super tired. Drae has a bruise on his head from erin pushing so much he hadnt turned enough to come out.. It is a true blessing everything came out ok. Praise GOD. Well Jeff has left and things are going 110 miles an hour again. My aunt and uncle came in on sunday. I think they are having a good time. They leave on Wednesday I think things are going to be slowing down. Currently I am not going to Singapore but who knows things change on a daily basis. We had organization day and it was fun.. Kicked butt in volleyball go finance. O yeah make sure u use sunscreen. I'm burnt I used it twice today I'm burnt.. Well thats all for now. O yea please pray for Mikes safe return hes coming home this weekend. Sara I love you and I know u are super excited for you. Wish I could be there with ya'll.

Jeff made it to Georgia. My family will be joining me on monday for 16 days. Today I found out that 1 February I will be going TDY(Temporary duty) to Singapore. I have no clue about anything. I know I will be doing Budgeting which something cool to know and may enhance my chance to getting promoted to the next rank. I don't anything about this place where it is what it looks like what the people are like however this is awesome. This morning I had some old friends call and say they wanted to come stay with me in Hawaii. May I remind you that these are friends I haven't talked to since Highschool. Anyhow they said they would like to come out from 1 Feb- 18 Feb and I didnt mind but I havent seen these people or talked to them in years. Honestly I probably shouldnt be hanging out with them so anyhow I told them I would get back to them and this morning after PT (physical trng) I was praying and I asked GOD for a way out, and then this morning I got called into my bosses office and asked when Jeff was going to be in Hawaii. I told him June, July Maybe August and he said great you will be going to Singapore from 1 February -20 April and I said my only concern is my dog. From there He said make sure u get him a place to go to day. I was sad to hear that I would be leavin my dog again for another 3 mo but at the same time it was an answered prayer.. Those of you that want to come to Hawaii I promise not to pray this but it was something that I needed to pray about they arent christians and jeff isn't here so that made it really hard for me to even consider it, but I just hate saying no. If any of you know what im saying. Well for now that is all I will give you and update. It's not official until its in writing. Please pray for knowledge and patience I have a board I have to go to. ooooo yeah I got promoted to sergeant 1 Jan.. woohoo its taken long enough. Well hes back in Ga, and were back to our regular shifts..

Jeff and I were able to spend two weeks together. It was such a blessing to be able to actually be with him for the holidays. He left a few hours ago and I already miss him so much. Back to time zones huuhhhh. He actually missed his flight by like a minute. So they put him on a flight to LA then hes on his own so hopefully he will be able to sweet talk someone to GA... Actually we know God will take care of it.. It was a good two weeks. We celebrated Christmas and he was able to see the church that I attend I like it alot but we will search for a church together when he gets here. Then came New Years we actually didn't sleep it in for once. For all of u that don't know I fall asleep in 90% of the movies we watch during the day and night time and I'm always out by 1030. I can't ever make it further than that.. So he said Hawaii is what u imagine it to be. I say it's over rated but who knows. I suppose we will leave that up to those of you who decide to come visit. So he leaves and my family comes in on the 7th which is exciting. I have to work but work is so different than recruiting. My average day in the army now. I get up for Physical Training at 430 and leave by 450 I have PT from 630-730 then i have work call at 9-5 and I'm home by 530.. so its the same amt of hours but im working out and school and im able to be home to cook. oh I love to cook. I know I'm rambling but neways I have internet now.. WOOOHHOOO.

Christmas

It is becoming my favorite time of year. It is just so pleasant to see people be nice to each other just because. People go to church just because they listen to christmas music and might not even really understand the words, but there is a chance that an unsaved soul might join the big family. I have been in my unit for almost 2 mo and there are single soldiers and they are away from their families once again. It is honestly sad. I know how they feel though to be so far away and to miss the snow, the smells, and family. For instance at thanksgiving there was this one guy he was in tears all day because of missing his family and I talked to him for a little bit to let him know that I know how he feels, but to be away for Christmas to has got to be hard. I have been blessed Jeff will be joining me for Christmas and New Years. I think of these two soldiers they only talk about Christmas and its there favorite time of year and they are going to be away from home. My heart aches for these Soldiers, and for those Soldiers that are in Iraq for the second year in a row I really feel for, but at the same time is not a better time for us to reach and and let them know that we love them. So neways I went off on a tangent.. Jeff wont be starting school until the middle of january or beginnning of feb. So that pushes him back to july or august of arriving in Hawaii. I am so thankful for those of you in my sunday school class that sent the pkg I am so grateful it was nice to get a pkg from home and to see axels smiling face looking just like his daddy it makes me happy to know all of you care so much. I miss you guys. Its still weird not seeing you every sunday.. And oh volleyball players I will be so much better when i come home im gonna start playing in jan on a league..It was great getting to know everyone. The only thing is that I'm disappointed that I wasn't so willing until about 6 mo before we left. Its because I know when I move that I only have so long and I dont want to get close to anyone because its so hard to say bye.. I'm sry I didnt get to know each and everyone of you better. Oh the shopping here is great.. They have 2 huge malls.. Prince is adapting well he doesnt like geckos... He kills every1 of them. Not only that but he will do anything to stop it from moving that includes jumping on the bed and pretty much climbing the wall. Today I trimmed the back yard and he was laying in the pile of leaves and chasing the geckos.. the funniest thing ever. He keeps me busy very busy. Between work and prince I hardly have time to do anything.. Well I will try to figure out how to put pics on here of hawaii for all of you. God Bless and Good Night.

... mmmm I don't know quite where to begin. I miss my best friend Sara so much its crazy not being able to jump in the GOV and just drive to her house when I'm having a down day. My lil Micah is growing up... So this last weekend I found a temporary church about 2 miles from my house. It's nice and cozy has a congregation of about 50so its a little change in pace however I like it. Christmas is right around the corner and I'm super excited to see Jeff he will be here on the 20th. So prince made it last week. I'm glad his transition is over and he is finally here. It's nice to have someone to talk to that doesn't speak back or argue with you about stupid stuff. I haven't been to the beach since Erin left. She will be having her baby in about 2.5 weeks. So please pray for her and the baby. I have met a few friends and they are good to me. I am so blessed to be on this beautiful island and surrounded by a blue ocean. I don't care for the Army that much anymore. It has changed so much since I left for recruiting. The bad news is looks like Jeff won't be starting school until mid Jan beginning Feb. So looks like he won't be here until the end of May beginning of June. Well love yall .. God Bless

HAWAII... OH HOW BEAUTIFUL IT IS. I HAVE HAD A ROUGH TIME GETTING ADJUSTED. PRINCE FINALLY MADE IT HERE SAFE AND SOUND. I THINK HE WILL LIKE IT ALOT. I MISS HOME ALOT BUT IM GLAD IM ABLE TO BE HERE. Well I fly out in a few hours and I am so emotional. I want to go but honestly I really don't. Jeff is getting promoted the 1st of November praise God. I'm so proud of him.... Everyone has been so good to me and I am very thankful for all of you. I didn't realize how hard it is to say bye. I balled most of the day yesterday because I was unable to spend the time I wanted with the people I wanted because I was running my sister all over highwater.. Well I will miss all of you and my home is open to everyone of you that wish to come to Hawaii. The off season for Hawaii tickets are in aug.. oct... nov.. dec. and jan so thats plenty of time to come see us. I just can't seem to find the words to say. Yesterday, was my last day of church. Boy does time fly bye!! I'm doing well and finally starting to be content with the idea. Im not as nervous as I was. It was hard to look into some of the people from church that have just reached out to us. I love you guys and going to miss all of you and all of you are more than welcome to come stay with us in Hawaii and I hope some of you take us up on this offer. I have decided that I'm going to teach my sister how to cook since she has burnt chicken in the microwave.. So this means that I am going to have to have patience and I dont have that but on the up sude if I am able to learn new recipes and actually spend real quality time with my sister, and during this God willing and only if it is God's will I will truly be able to show her my faith and learn what her's is. I kinda know but not real sure. When she moved to Dallas she cused alot and i mean every other word and know that she knows it offends me she doesnt cus so much but at the same time she came here listening to hard rap that you hardly could understand and now she listens to KLTY which is a blessing in itself. So Jeff and I are doing well. Ali you are so right the devil works in all kinds a ways to break between the two of us. The last couple of days we have fought about petty stuff that doesn't matter. We are going to make this work there is no exception we made it through recruiting which puts your marriage through so many problems. I wish that it wasn't recruiting but everyone that comes out here and I would say 90% of them get divorced. So we've made it through the hard stuff. I look forward to a new chapter in our lives in Hawaii. We don't plan to have kids until im atleast 28 and some of our goals has been met unless god comes up with other plans for us and we are happy with those to. So for now I miss everyone from church and wish we had more moments together and I'm sry it took me so long to open up. I knew that I would be leaving in two years so its hard to make friends when you know you will have to tell them bye very soon and whats harder than that making friends before that and having to tell them bye and you not even really getting to know them. We have had fun for sure during small groups, the parties, and during sunday school when we weren't late. I thank all of you for being there for us and I am sorry we weren't able to become better friends. Sara chica I'm going to miss you to the moon and back when I even think about you or Micah my eyes fill full of tears. You have become my best friend and not because Mike was in the army but because of God's will and that I'm not the average Jo's wife. Oh I can't forget about one of the love's of my life name prince. Well he is staying with people I use to work with and they aren't treating him bad and they aren't treating him good. I see the way she treats her dogs so I know that she woudl treat mine the same but at the same time I am unable to really have any control over that. So I love my prince and so worried that there will be something bad happen to him in that home and we are working on finding him a place to stay at this pint we don't have any other choice. So I ask for prayer for my dog prince that the lady is nice to him and doesn't harm him. and a Praise that everything has come together so nicely during our move. everyone has just pithed in and said hey we can help we are so grateful and can never repay all of ya'lls generosity. Well here goes. I havent wrote in a while because I have been an emotional wreck. It is crazy watching people pack your house and you loading the Uhaul. Living with friends and nothaving your own place. We are very grateful for our friends that have opened their home up to us. I only have about a week and half to go. I survived my last small group I didnt cry I almost did but held it back. It is just going by so fast so so fast. I was distant from people for so long and now that I am finally making friends I dont want to go. I thank all of you who have been there during this emotional transition. The hardest thing is going to be on the 18th when we say goodbye or see ya later. I looked around the room last night as Jeff said it was my last sunday, and I so wanted to cry but I new I had to be strong. So I had a doctor's appointment this morning and found out some info that wasn't very pleasant. Apparently I have plycystic ovaries syndrome. This challenges us to have children, menstral cycles and all sorts of stuff. It is good to know this before we start to have children. Well, I'm nervous about next thursday I'm not ready to say goodbye to our small group, class, or anyone at church...As the days get shorter my emotions get shorter as it seems. I am grateful to be able to see everyone before I leave. I hope that people really do come visit. Well my brain hurts so good night for now..

The Closing

Well today we closed on our home and everything went through. No turning back now. So it looks like its true we are moving to the wonderful island of Hawaii. . I'm so nervous NOW.... I honestly am sad and relieved all at the same time.. I realize that I will not be will the person I love most in life (Jeff) for all of the major holidays.. Thanksgiving.. His birthday ( hes missed all but one of mine) Christmas, New Years, and Our 5th Anniversary. So many special events coming up and I can't stop the tears because of the seperation. I do remember the 1st time we were seperated.. He was in Iraq and I was in Korea.. I missed my first flight to Korea b/c of him running late (imagine that)... Well we had to drive all the way down to dallas it was the longest drive ever. I rememver walking in with sweety palms and thinking I was leaving then.. Well come to find out I missed my 2nd flight because we at the wrong terminal.. So I received a new ticket and had a night to spend with my newly husband. So we slept in the Jeep Grand Cherokee and washed up that morning of leaving for Korea brushed teeth washed face and was ready to go.. Until I looked in those gorgeous eyes and the tears just came kinda like last night.. We had to say our first "See ya laters" it was the hardest thing I have ever done.. Well here we are once again in 28 days having to say our 2nd set of 'See ya laters'.. Its getting harder by the day. So anyways The house is gone and we are of to friends on the 26th of this month and then living out of suitcases which doesnt excite me I'm limited to what I wear.. So thats all for now.

House Stuff.

Well we close on our house this Thursday. I can't believe that I will have to move out of the home I love so much.. As I look around I see my pictures on the walls that in a week from tomorrow will be but in to boxes.. I look at my husband sitting in his favorite chair in is shorts watching his 65 in tv (football that is) and he wont be sitting in his chair for 6 mths.. The smell the look. Everything will be so different. Furniture will be rearranged in smaller rooms, and not so much space to lounge in.. This makes me sad but I do know that there is good to come out of this move.

It is so amazing how God shows us how he loves us on a daily basis and if you obey he provides... Well i passed the board yesterday so I will be SGT McFadden soon.. That means more money and responsibilities. I get chills even thinking about it, but with out God there is no way I would be were I'm out now. So the stress has been lifted off my shoulders. My boss said that I just have to show up and then I can leave. This is a true blessing this means I will be ale to spend time with family and friends more than what I was going to be able to.. Reality is really starting to hit. I sent my car to Hawaii on Tuesday.. I am going to miss my best friend Sara the most she has been there in the thick and the thin times out here on recruiting. Thank you Sara for helping me and providing guidance.. :).. So for now God Bless .. Oh were out of town this weekend and we plan to be back tomorrow.

Well I haven't been on here it seems like in forever.. I have alot to say and no the words to say it. The mood I find my self into night is sad, overwhelmed, and calm. I know thats like contradicts.. Let me explain... Reality about moving has hit me really hard lately.. At church on sunday with the small group kick off after we were finished with the activities we got into our small groups and We started to discuss what was going to be happening the semester and it took everything I had no to cry. I didnt realize the emotional connection that I had with so many people in that room. Some are new and some are still building. I do know I am glad to be done with recruiting and not having to worry the long hours and seeing my husband for minutes each day. That is a huge relieve, however I have friends here in the lovely town of Dallas and I can't believe that we are moving now that we are starting to know people. Overwhelmed.. mmmm so much to do and no time to do it i havent moved in almost 2 years and there is so much to do between here and there. I have the promotion board on friday and I know that God will give me the memory and the confidence to sit in front of the board members and answer those questions they ask. Oh God is Great.. I don't know how life would be with out the strength that he gives all of us on a daily basis especially me... and Calm the fact of knowing that God has our backs.. I look forward to seeing those of you who choose to come to our going away party and those that can't make it.. I'll still love you, but for now God Bless and have a wonderful evening.

Everything is coming together

Well, it looks everything is coming together. The inspector came through and nothing came back. The appraiser came through this morning and had nothing bad to say other than you have a very clean home. So it looks like our home is going to be gone. :(.. I am very sad that my home is going however at the same time I'm happy because one day God willing we will own another home. We have a very busy schedule coming up and would love to see all of our friends and family prior to leaving. This weekend we will be having a huge garage house if there isnt rain. Super Excited!!

Well, things just couldn't fall into place at a better time in our lives. Our home is currently in contract mode to be sold. PRAISE GOD!! And we celebrated my birthday tonight. My husband did a wonderful job of suprising me. We went to Ripley's Believe it or not then to the Wax House it was pretty awesome to see those things and to get a few laughs and a few jumps from car horns. Then after that we went on to dinner reservations at the Reunion Tower. It couldn't have been any better unless you ask Jeff about the Duck.. Everything was perfect from the glass of water to the dessert. Well thats the update for now. Good night and God Bless!

It's official!!

Well we're off to Hawaii. We got our orders yesterday. I will be leaving around the 17th of October and then Prince (our lab) will be joining me on the 26th of November and then Jeff is off to school on 30 November to be some sort of computer gooroo and he will be joining up with me in May 2008. So please pray for our seperation and the transitions. We both will be extremely busy with this move. God has blessed us in so many ways and taken care of us more than we ever deserved or deserve. We still have our house on the market. We have had alot of people look, and finally last night at 7 pm we received an offer on our home. We are super stoked but nothing is set in stone. God is awesome he answers prayers when the timing is perfect. My sister is living with us and will be moving to Hawaii in October with me during the time period of Jeff being gone... She is pregnant and is having a little boy. A fresh start for her. Well any how thats about it for now. God bless and have a wonderful day.
